Anna Maria Chlumsky (born Anna Maria Chlumsky) is an American actor. She started acting when she was young and became famous for her role as Vada sultenfuss, as seen in My Girl and My Girl 2 (both films). She took a hiatus from 1999 to 2005, in order to attend university. Anna Chlumsky is a Chicago Illinois native who was born to Nancy Chlumsky, Sr. and Frank Chlumsky Jr. on the 3rd December of 1980. Her father is a chef, and her mother worked previously as flight attendant. Although her mother sings and act, her father is also an saxophonist. When she was 10 her modeling career began in Marshall Fields. When her parents divorced when she was 2 she was brought up as a child by her mother. In 2010, she appeared in ads for Marshall Fields as a young model. After her parents split up after she turned 2 she was born a single mother with her mom.
